Beginning of European Le Mans Series 2017 season
The European Le Mans Series season kicks off with the Official Test to be held at the Monza circuit on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 March. There will be 41 LM P2 and LM P3 cars at the track, including the United Autosports racers.
This Official Test comprises 14 hours of track time over five sessions, during which Hugo de Sadeleer and teammates Will Owen and Filipe Albuquerque will get the chance to put the Ligier JS P217 through its paces.
Hugo de Sadeleer : “I had a really strong weekend at Monza the last time I raced there so I know the circuit and I’m really looking forward to it. We’ve had some good tests in the LMP2 car. Unfortunately the Portimao test was very wet and tricky but we had a dry day at Paul Ricard a few weeks ago so I’m feeling more positive in the car now.”
After the Official Test in Monza, the first round of the 2017 European Le Mans Series championship will be run at Silverstone (UK) on Saturday 15 April.
