Radical Challenge Championship – A difficult return to Snetterton 300 for Jerome
Jerome de Sadeleer this weekend competed in another round of the Radical Challenge Championship. This latest race was held at the Snetterton 300 circuit in England, where he’d been crowned Radical SR1 Cup champion just a year earlier. Unfortunately for the Swiss man, his return proved more difficult than expected.
Encouraging qualifying sessions
Jerome did, however, look comfortable in the early qualifying stages. Driving and performing brilliantly, he has long been a serious contender for the overall title. But to get himself in that position, the Swiss man has had to contend with some serious competition.
In the first race, and after a less than outstanding start, Jerome found himself having to battle to stay in touch with the front three. He eventually ended the race in sixth position, which would subsequently turn out to be his best result of the weekend.
The remaining races proved very frustrating for Jerome. As is usual for him, he was amongst the frontrunners, but he was forced to abandon on two occasions.
Nevertheless, Jerome retains his third place position in the “Solo” standings thanks to the excellent start he made to the season.
The next round of the Radical Challenge Championship takes place next 29th and 30th September at the Rockingham circuit.
