Blancpain GT World Challenge – a new podium for Hugo!

This week-end, Misano hosted round two of the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe. A competition in which Hugo de Sadeleer participated as a R Motorsport racing team driver. And for the second time this season, Hugo and his team snatched a podium in Silver Cup.

Successful all week long, Hugo and his partner Aaro Vainio brilliantly carried their team’s colours. In their Aston Martin Vantage GT3 n°62, the duo was impressive. They kept an intensive rhythm during all of their driving sessions. However, the cherry on top was Sunday’s race. Hugo and Aaro masterfully showed their respective talents. Thanks to their combative spirit, the two pilots reached the 7^th place of the leaderboard and 2^nd in Silver Cup.

As he was truly delighted on the podium, Hugo shared: “We are so glad! The team did an excellent work. We were already on the podium at Brands Hatch, but this time, we did so much better as we outperformed other categories.”

A few hours after his victory, Hugo flew for Belgium where awaits the first tests for the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. His next race will occur the 12^th, 13^th and 14^th of July at Zandvoort, Holland.
