Radical Challenge – An exciting end of the season for Jerome
This weekend, Jerome and the Radical Challenge stopped off at Donington Park for the last round of the season. This final step was to decide on the overall winner of the 2019 season. Despite his brilliant performances, Jerome had to settle for second place in the general ranking.
Two wins to launch the weekend
In the first race, Jerome made the best start and race possible, converting his pole position, he had won earlier in the day, into a seventh victory of the season.
Punctuated by heavy rain showers, this race gave Jerome the opportunity to show off his talent and his driving skills.
In the second race, still as fast as ever, Jerome was patient and seized the opportunity to finish in the lead. Resisting the attacks of his pursuers, he once again confirmed that he was a serious competitor to the title.
A frustrating end of the season for Jerome
In the last race, Jerome was once again in a good position and seemed to be heading straight for the title. But it was without counting on a blow of fate that occurred while he was making a pit stop. Immobilized because of a recalcitrant nut, he left with a slight delay accentuated by the appearance of the safety car.
A lack of luck all the more disappointing as Jerome was at the top of the championship.
At the end of the weekend, Jerome said he was extremely disappointed with the result, but has already announced that he wants to come back even stronger!
