Our winter programme
Dear Friends,
As always Christian did his best to find convenient dates for our Snow Driving Session, but depending on snow condition, they might need to be changed. I went to Le Mans Classic this year for the first time as a spectator. Till now, i used to go as a competitor and as such had all the necessary facilities : pass, access to Drivers Club ect. Thanks to Christian Hospitality infrastructure, i spent a wonderful week-end with a great view of the Ford Chicane, delicious food, surrounded by friends, with all the necessary pass. It is a Must for those who want to witness the best of Historic racing in style.
The nineteenth Classic Car “Rally & Yachting” was a big success with 37 cars participating. It started with the registration at our Club House followed by the traditional model boat regattas, which took place in the Alpina swimming-pool followed by a garden party. Saturday drive in the Wallis was superb without traffic. Member Guillaume Chauvet expertly navigated by his son Paul and friends, finished 4th. Other Members competing included : Erwin Bach, Victor Gutzwiller, Sonia Mermod, Grégoire Notz, Peter Schetty, Caspar Sturm and Christian Traber. Save the date for the next year Rally, which is expected to take place on August 7 & 8 2026.
The Training & Snow-Driving Events on the Saanen Airport, General Assembly and Annual Diner will be held at the following dates:
- 11/01/2026: Training & Snow-Driving Event with the Gstaad Yacht Club in Saanen
- 13/02/2026: General Assembly at 13.30 at our Club House
- 14/02/2026: Yearly Snow-Driving Event followed by Annual Diner at 19.30 at our Club House
- 15/02/2026: Training & Snow-Driving followed by General Assembly at our Club House

The annuity for 2026 has been set at CHF 2’000.- for individual members and at CHF 3’000.- for couples. Children of Members will be charged CHF 1’000.-.
