Radical Challenge – a second win for Jerome at Snetterton

Last week-end, Jerome de Sadeleer made a remarkable performance in round two of the Radical Challenge at Snetterton (UK). Surpassing his title rival Dominik Jackson, our Swiss driver currently tops Radical Challenge Leaderboard with two maximum scores and a second-place sprint race finish.

The first two races saw the uprising of Jerome’s new-found concurrent, Marcus Clutton. As Valour Racing’s pilot led the first trial, Jerome had to fight his way through to secure second place. Overcoming Jac Constable and Dominik Jackson ferocious manoeuvres, he finally did only 9 seconds behind Clutton.

Second race was a bit trickier for Jerome. The racer made a slow start, running wide on lap 2. However, Jerome later recovered and blasted his way to third place, right behind Clutton and Constable.

Jerome really shone during the third race. Early in the trial, Team 360’s driver overhauled pole-sitter Jac Constable. Then, Jerome kept a comfortable first place until the end, in spite of a 10 seconds success penalty. He declared: “I’m delighted, the team set the car up so, so well. If we can do that again at Spa it will be great, although I’ll have full success penalties here.”

Third round of Radical Challenge will take in place next June 22 and 23 at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium).
