Radical Challenge at Silverstone – Jerome at the top of the podium during the first race

It was at the Silverstone circuit (UK) that Jerome took part, this week-end, in the fifth round of the Radical Challenge… An event which resulted in a brillant performance from the Swiss driver ! While finishing on the lowest step of the podium, Jerome easily won first race, beating his main rivals : Dominik Jackson and Jac Constable.

Remarkable from the starting to the finishing line, Jerome flew over the endurance trial. From the very first seconds of the competition, he went ahead of his rivals while creating a very confortable lead with the rest of the peloton. Dominik Jackson from RAW Motorsport finished second 15 seconds behind him.

The second race was a little bit harsher for Jerome who stepped down from his pole-sitting to the fifth position by the end of the first lap. The Swiss racer kept the same position until the end of the trial.

The week-end closed on a 50 minutes endurance trial where Jerome managed to make his way to third place on the podium. Going up the ranking step by step, Jerome fought for third place with Jac Constable and Joe Stables. A bold manoeuvre, during the finishing six minutes of the race, let the pilot take the upper hand on his rivals.

Jerome shared : “My team told me to drive much more calmly than I did yesterday as it wasn’t a good result in the sprint race. I managed to pick up Dominik and Jac in third and fourth which was good. I really managed the race well and took the opportunity when the guys ahead were battling among themselves. I’m looking forward to Brands Hatch. I had a big crash there last year so I have unfinished business!”

Meet Jerome on September 7 for the next trial of the Radical Challenge at Brands Hatch circuit (UK).
